Austin to Host Southwest Regionals!!!
The Out of Bounds Comedy Festival is proud to partner with the Chicago Improv Festival to present the Southwestern Regional bracket of the massive National College Improv Tournament.
OOB is currently looking for college improv groups from New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana!
There is no fee to participate and the winner of the Southwestern Regional bracket will...

they have Coconut soda. that’s how cool this town is. I’m from Hawaii. and we don’t even have Coconut soda.

So this was taken during our second day in Austin. We came across this sign on Congress Ave and Had to take a picture. The first thing I say when I see it is “That sign looks like a Dick” So If there is one thing I will remember from this trip, its sign that looks suspiciously like a penis.

Well, it took us over 24 hours in the rented Hyundai Sonata, but we’re back in Minnesota and missing Austin already. Everything seems too quiet, sober and unimprovised back home. Goodbyes
At Trudy’s with lots of the staff hugging and saying goodbyes to out of town folks. On the verge of tears. What a moving week. Improvised theater and it’s community is so magical and we’re so lucky to have been made aware of it. Good night everyone, see you next year.

So as I am walking to the taxi at ohare there is a huge guy with a smoking hot lady in front of me, and a small crowd of people encompassing him. So I pick up the pace to see who it is. Turns out its the freaking Undertaker! Reports of random Tombstones at the airport are greatly exaggerated.
I'm kvelling!
The festival this year was astoundingly good and the fact that it’s here, produced by passionate former and current Austinites, makes me really happy with my decision to live in this city. Out Bounds makes Austin awesome!
